A one-of-a-kind ceramic bowl inspired by the elemental surfaces found within the earth -obsidian, cooled lava, fractured minerals and metal transformed by heat.
Its deep charcoal exterior has a wonderfully raw, stone-like quality, giving way at the rim to an intensely reflective interior. Black, bronze and molten gold shift into flashes of blue, violet and oil-slick iridescence as the light moves across the surface, making the bowl appear different from almost every angle.
Small but incredibly expressive, Obsidian Alchemy feels as much like a discovered mineral object as a piece of ceramic. Beautiful left completely empty, it can also be used to hold jewellery, crystals, treasured objects or other small pieces where its extraordinary interior remains visible.
