Originally created as personal keepsakes, Stephanie affectionately refers to these pieces as her Memorial Lilies. They symbolise peace, grace and remembrance, holding a significance that reaches far beyond the flower itself.
Stephanie has admired calla lilies since childhood, when her grandfather planted them in the family garden. Over the years, they have appeared almost magically in several different areas, becoming a treasured reminder of loved ones, enduring connections and the quiet continuation of life.
Each sculptural lily is individually shaped by hand to capture the graceful curves and gentle beauty of the natural flower. Every piece features a softly folded ivory-white bloom, a warm golden centre and a long, organically formed green stem. No moulds are used, allowing each lily to develop its own posture, contours and character just as it would in nature.
Created to be enjoyed forever, an Everlasting Calla Lily can be displayed upright in a vase, incorporated into a floral arrangement or laid flat as a decorative sculpture on a table, shelf or mantelpiece.
The lilies may also be commissioned as meaningful personal tributes. A name, significant date, personal inscription or reference to scripture can be carefully added to the clay and fired into the finished flower, creating a lasting connection to a loved one or a special moment in time.
